On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, BSPJI Palembang held a Training to Improve Understanding & Knowledge as well as HR Capacity and Competence "Hygiene and Sanitation for MSMEs" at the Amaris Hotel Palembang.

This activity aims to increase the understanding of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) regarding the importance of hygiene and sanitation in running a business, especially in the food and beverage sector.

This event presents competent speakers in the field of hygiene and sanitation, who provide in-depth insights into the application of hygiene standards in the production, processing, and distribution of MSME products. Through this training, participants gain an understanding of how to maintain product quality to remain safe and healthy for consumers, as well as how the implementation of good sanitation can increase the competitiveness of their businesses.

In addition to the material presentation session, this training was also filled with interactive discussion sessions and case studies, where participants could exchange experiences and ask the speakers directly about the various challenges faced in maintaining hygiene and sanitation in their business environments.

With this training, it is expected that MSMEs can implement better hygiene and sanitation standards, so that they can improve the quality of their products and provide security guarantees for consumers. This activity is also a strategic step in supporting the strengthening of MSME competitiveness amidst increasingly tight market competition.

The training went smoothly and received high enthusiasm from the participants. It is hoped that similar activities can continue to be carried out periodically to support the growth of more qualified and highly competitive MSMEs.
